Helping Local Businesses

A movement for local · United States

About Helping Local Businesses

We give independent businesses the same loyalty firepower the big chains have — and reward the people who choose local. One app. Every neighborhood. A stronger local economy.

What is Helping Local Businesses?

Helping Local Businesses is a national U.S. loyalty network that rewards people for shopping at independent local businesses. Members use a free app to check in via QR code at participating businesses — called Founding Pillars — earning points and a digital Local Passport stamp at each one. Points redeem for real-dollar vouchers (100 points = $5, up to 1,000 points = $75). Businesses join for a flat monthly subscription with no commission on rewards, and get foot-traffic analytics, repeat-customer data, and member-only deals. The goal: give independent shops the same loyalty tools national chains have always had, and pay shoppers back for keeping money in their community.

The story behind the movement

Big chains have loyalty apps. Now local does too.

Walk down any Main Street in America and you'll see the same quiet story: the independent shops that give a place its character are vanishing. Not because people stopped loving them, but because they were outgunned. National chains have apps, points, push notifications, and mountains of customer data. The local spot down the street had a paper punch card and hope.

That's not a fair fight. So we built Helping Local Businesses to flip it — one app, one network. Check in at any participating local business, earn real-dollar rewards, and put enterprise-grade loyalty tools into the hands of the businesses that actually know your name.

From the first block we launch on to all 50 states, the idea is simple: when you spend local, your community gets stronger — and now you get rewarded for it.

“A dollar spent at a local business recirculates in the community far longer than one spent at a chain. We just made loyalty finally work for the little guy.”

Local is worth fighting for

Local businesses create most new jobs, keep more money in the community, and give every town its identity — but they've been competing with one hand tied behind their back against billion-dollar loyalty programs. Helping Local Businesses levels the field: a community-first platform where people earn real rewards for shopping local, and local businesses finally get the loyalty tools, foot traffic, and data the giants have had all along. No commissions. Just a movement that pays off for everyone.
